Dubai, UAE

After a nice 12 1/2 hour plane ride from Dulles in DC, landed in Dubai Internation Airport in the UAE. Weird food on the plane and it was definelty a trip sitting on a plane that long, but all in all wasn't that bad. Watched a couple movies and slept a bunch. After a short ride from the airport checked in at the Traders hotel, a very nice 4 star place that all the UDC deployees get booked at.

We stayed up very late at the bar drinking far too many beers (there is no alcohol allowed in Afghanistan). There were a couple of asian girls singing 80's and 90's songs and dancing with piano accompaniment. That and the line of obvious hookers at the bar made the evening pretty funny for the three of us. Weird that a hotel that nice allows hookers like that.
